FLOW is an exciting, genre-bending clarinet and cello duo based in Manchester. Jess Tomlinson and Polly Virr share a passion for communicating their love of music with others in a joyful, fun and accessible way. Together they have worked for several years delivering music in healthcare settings, most notably at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and performing at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and with Air Arts in Derby. They love to put their own unique spin on well-known tunes, as well as writing their own pieces and performing compositions that fuse folk, jazz, classical and pop. Jess and Polly both studied at the RNCM and now enjoy active and varied careers as versatile freelance musicians, working with bands such as James, Everything Everything and Johnny Marr; playing on shows such as Wicked and Oliver and with orchestras such as BBC Philharmonic, Kaleidoscope, Limelight and the Untold Orchestra.

With dancing, listening as well as bubbles, percussion, props and informal introductions, this is a fun and informal gig for adults and their children aged 0-5 years.
